Hamo (Pike Eel) appetizer cooked in three different ways; tempura, poached with a special “dashi” sauce, and broiled with another special “dashi”. Hamo is from the Atlantic ocean and has a rich taste – it’s just in season.
In Japan, this dish is recognized as traditional haute cuisine, and is usually served in up-scale “Ryoutei” restaurants specializing in Kaiseki. Only skilled Japanese chefs know how to prepare Hamo.
We will be serving this “Hamo appetizer” until the end of March, and the price is only $19.
